Hope provides support for young people when a close family member is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness such as cancer.

Hearing that someone in your family has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness can bring a huge sense of fear and uncertainty, especially for younger family members. This is why Hope’s support is available right from the moment of diagnosis and for as long as we are needed, regardless of outcome.

Hope delivers a face-to-face service across Herefordshire. Support includes regular youth sessions, fun trips and respite breaks as well as confidential one-to-one sessions with a trained professional.

These sessions and activities provide a safe place for the young people to be with others going through a similar situation, the chance to get away from the stresses of home life and an opportunity to offload any worries to someone who understands.

Hope also delivers a free, safe, online service which can be accessed from anywhere across the UK – find out more here www.hopesupport.org.uk/onlinesupport
